It's been a while since my last update, but I've been incredibly busy. I'd been making contest entries only, until last night, when I wasn't able to resist the urge to photoshop anymore. Hee. :) I think I'm finally getting where I want to be as an iconmaker. I know I've said that before, but this time, I mean it. Here are the promised Jurassic Park icons. After a friend of mine made some, I just had to do the same thing (even though I'll never be as perfect as her :P). So here they are.
Beware, those are mostly of Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), because frankly, she's the most amazing character of the film, and we all know it. ;)

Hey there!
Told ya I was in the middle of a new batch. ;)
I watched The Constant Gardener a while ago and loved it. The story seemed so real and Rachel Weisz and Ralph Fiennes were absolutely amazing. And what I loved most about the film was the camera takes and the colours (!!). So pretty. So I couldn't wait to get some caps, which proved almost impossible. The ones I got in the end were nowhere near perfect, either, but that couldn't keep me from making icons.
Three news style-wise: I've completely abandoned sharpening now (yay me!), I've fallen in love with satuation layers aaaaand this is my first time in black and white (which is, after all, quite ironic seeing that I talked about the amazing colours of the film before *lol*). On some of the last ones, I tried new a complete new colouring, using colourlayers on linear burn and things like that. Anyway, I like most of them this time. I really do. xD
